All employees who offer for sale, display for sale, sell, or offer for lease, motor vehicles for a licensed motor vehicle or leasing dealer. Licenses are renewed bi-annually.

All persons wishing to sell at an approved sales event must hold a salesperson license prior to the event. Each salesperson shall carry the license and exhibit upon demand to any inspector of the bureau, pursuant to O.R.C. 4517.10.

Persons who have not held a valid Ohio Salespersons License during the past 12 months are considered new/first applicants and must submit the items listed above as well as a Criminal History Record (see Criminal History Record Requirements).
